Me: Oh, other than trying to find a job in banks related industries, I pretty much have not done anything. (Somehow I just can't lie)

Interviewer: So you haven't been reading articles, so you are waiting to get into business school to be spoon fed information?

Interview later. Just pray my brains will be working, and that I don't get lost. And that NTU doesn't overlook my application again.

Ok, so I've done the preliminary research. Airtickets from NY to Orlando are 190 per pax, so x 5 = US$950.As for hotel + Disneyworld tickets, we have two options:

1) Go for the discounted Disneyworld package (from a licensed reputable disneyworld travel agent which offers discounts), stay in a family suite in one of the Disneyworld hotels itself, with 4-days park hopper tickets. There are four different parks in Disneyworld, and the park hopper tickets allow us to go to all the different parks in one day. Non-hopping tickets are cheaper, but means that you can only go to one park once. Total price is $2526, tax included.

2) Buy discounted Disneyworld tickets from another licensed disneyworld ticket agent, for $264 per adult (4 of us) and $229 for jamie. These are also 4-days park hopper tickets. Book a nearby hotel separately (less than 1 mile away from Disneyworld; hotel provides free shuttle service) in a 1 bedroom suite that can accommodate all of us (2 queen beds + 1 sofabed) for $140 a night. Total price will be $1925 plus tax, so it will be a little over $2k.

*snorts. That price, I can probably buy a 2.55 But Disneyworld would mean, that I have visited all the disneyworld/lands :D And you know I'm a sucker for disney stuff ahhaha especially disney princess!

If only I have a mic with me now.

Well, today is a horrid one. Firstly, didn't really wake up on the right side of the bed, just felt moody in the morning. Monday blues you see.. Then this taxpayer had to make me so uptight and scared and I broke down after he shouted at me. I never knew I would cry cos of such ridiculous stuff. Whatever, I'm fine now.

And to make things worse, just when i dried my tears and forced a smile on my face, NTU called. Asking me to go down for business interview. So, rejected by double degree after all those who didn't make it got their rejection call loooong time ago. Just had to crash my world by overlooking my application and calling me only now, when you are about to send letter of acceptance to students. So does that mean even if I do go down for interview on Friday, my chances are much slimmer than those who went for interview before me?

So even after mugging hard, getting consistent results for 2 years, getting a leadership post in jc, doing lots of CIP, joining a damn fab cca, getting pretty awezum A level results, I STILL GET REJECTED BY THE SCHOOL I WANT TO GO TO. The reason why I worked so hard, why I joined HC, why I struggled to go for SYF, is cos I wanted to build up my portfolio and show I can not only study, so I won't cry just cos I can't go to the school I want to go to, like what happened during O's.

But still it happened. Somehow everything just seemed wrong. Worse still, my wugui was outfield and couldn't talk to me.

Heck it, as if my world will really come crashing down. Even if it does, I can build it back up again. What I can only do is to nail that interview, and work even harder. Because I know I'm not lousy. Because I know I can do it. Well, the only consolation is that, I do have a confirmed place at SMU already, I don't have to fear that I will be school-less.

Life's still good, well maybe thats because I have some super ability to get over stuff quickly, and pick myself up hours after I fall, and smile in 5 minutes after crying or being angry, and cos I don't remember how upset/angry I get. Maybe its cos i DO have STM.

Eh, life just got better, I found out, SMU Biz can finish in 3 years if you work really hard, and I still can get a double degree if I'm awezum after the first year. And, and, and, SO COOL THEY HAVE A MODULE ON MANAGEMENT OF PEOPLE AT WORK. ISNT THAT LIKE, OFFICE POLITICS?

What a long post this is. I'm in the karaoke mood again.

Am probably gonna sleep early tonight, cos I am very very very very tired!

Went to Butter Factory yesterday and had quite a good time thanks to the good company. :D Reached home at 5 am plonked myself onto my bed. Had to dragggg myself up to wash my face and take off my contacts hahaha! Slept for about, 3.5 hours. Then woke up to talk to wugui online before going out!

Met Canphylia to take my camera back cos I left it with her and didn't take it back ahahaha. Super nice girl! And met the wugui for katong laksa! Yumsyumssssssss! Bumped into my cousin in law, went to borders to buy gossipgirl, and went to look at the macbook air! And also bumped into Jazreel :D:D

Went home to do some online shopping which is now on hold cos we dunno whether to ship it to sis' place or right back here. Then watched Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi! For the 20743 time! Was really lazy so we ordered pastamania delivery and watch and eat at the same time! Then we realised, its time to book in. AGAIN.

And the thing is, he had to cut his hair but still didn't cut his hair hahaha! Rushed to psr to find all the hairdressers/barbers closed, other than one. Who really dunno whats the difference between 4by1 whatever that is and, what wugui's hair became, who looks like a recruit once again HAHAHAHA. Its just hair la, hair grows fast! :D

So its another week of anticipating the weekends.

I haven't buy new gossip girl books yet =( And I havent been having enough sleep these few days.. So I'm very cranky! And not to mention the long queue of taxpayers. (And the ridiculous stuff they say)

Chiong home after work! Slepttttttttttttttttt and almost didn't want to wake up for dinner, but temptation of wagyu beef is irresistable.

OH! Achievement #1!! I wore specs to work today!! Hahahaha shocked everyone! Felt like a geek at times though lollol. But I was really damn stoned in the morning.. I woke up, and sat on my bed in a daze, until I realised I was damn late hahahahahaha! Well, its just one of THOSE days, I feel like being ugly and plain. I think every friday is my look ugly and bochap day..

Tomorrow work againnnnnnnnn.. Half day only, but still......... -_- But after thats its ZHAI NU DAY! Stay at home and rot! My favourite pasttime now, enjoyable and FREE.

Mummy screamed for me all the way from the first floor.. SHELL!! SHELL!! SHELL!!!!!!! I thought what, the house on fire or something.

She ran up and asked me if I'm sleeping, of course not mummy dearest, I'm not so lazy.. Then she handed me a letter. "OPEN IT OPEN IT WHAT IS THIS WHAT IS THIS? SMU LEH! CONGRATULATIONS!! (points to the word congratulations on the envelope) OPEN IT QUICK QUICK"

Me: Aiyo mummy, so kan chiong for what. Letter only
Mummy: But from SMU leh! Open la!!
Me: Okokok relax.

So in the window envelope I saw my name, application number, address. So I kinda know what its about la har.

But then I read, and read it over and over again. Thats it....? No double degree? No scholarship? But attatched in the letter was info about scholarship and a small paragraph bout double degree. So I really don't know whats happening. Oh, theres this sentence about SMU's scholarship being merit-based and need-based. Thanks ah, like this, I think I must be a poor freak to get a scholarship. Shouldnt have declared the real family income :( No car fund!! Ok la, wasn't surprised.. I know of people who would kill for this letter (with their name on it thats it), I'm not complaining... I wonder what my boy would get.

And, the letter is dated 14 April 2008. The day I paid for my application! Gian Peng. Must wait until I pay then confirm me a place.

After a loooong flight! And a looooong wait inside her dust bag and box over at sister's house in NYC. My tangy mam is finally in singapore!

Anyway, I am moving house to somewhere in Lucky Heights :( No more convenient mrt nearby.

Yeah.. So on friday, my sunshine booked out quite late, and so by the time we reached Miss Clarity Cafe, kitchen closed already! =( So we bummed around, tried the Milo McFlurry which really doesnt taste of Milo at all, before going over to orchard to meet his army friends to celebrate someone's birthday hahaha.. Sat on one-hell-of-a-ride in someone's car and went to some karaoke pub. Didnt even sing anything!

And we went over to CDC yesterday cos I need to book my test date and lessons.. And we got caught in the damn heavy rain, with all the cabbie hotlines busy.. Finally could get a cab and went over to Miss Clarity Cafe! Good food and good price! I think we drank like, 2 litres of green tea hahahahaha!!

Went around bugis looking for a watch, but someone is just too picky! And went home to do online shopping which failed totally cos we had no time at all, cos he had to bloody book in.

I'm off to watch Dou Niu Yao Bu Yao! Eh, plis tell me what to do with my notes when I move house. Throw? Keep? Hur?

Ogay, work has been tiring lately. I'm getting my shoulderaches and headaches again. Irrits tps coming and yelling and demanding for things that does not exist. Do you know a smile and a thank you can just brighten up someone's day totally?! Can you people learn how to SMILE and talk POLITELY?

Whatever! Thank God Its Friday! But I still have work tomorrow =( Well, I was on my way home today and saw someone carrying the cotton on plastic bag! So I made a detour and went to Cotton On and began picking stuff off the rack like I totally have no clothes to wear. 50% off, how not to attract you? So I blasted 83 bucks there hahahah but thats ok cos I got my pay!!

Sorry for the lack of updates! Haha, was rather busy this weekend!

Well, nothing much during the weekend la, just that someone fell asleep while watching a movie and insisted he's not tired, like who are you kidding?! And, I bought a new dress yesterday! :D Mmhmm! Yupyup, and the weekends are gone and its back to slogging at work.

There was a major power failure today la. No aircon, no nothing. Had to stand outside and welcome taxpayers like prostitutes finding guys. Ok, not so crude, but you get my idea. And even after the aircon came back and the lights came on and stuff, the printers couldnt work, we had to issue manual form. And I still have loads of form I havent despatch yet. Argh. I left work with alot of work undone la. Rushed to city hall to go to SMU to make payment for my application and drop wugui's supporting documents, which I stupidly forgot to attatch the acknowledgement page and had to walk all the way back to submit the acknowledgement page.

Met Sebas for dinner and shopping for hats/caps/beanies. Hahaha! I dragged him to cut botak! Hahahahahaha! My shoulder hurts :(

And Wan Lin came over to my place in the day to drop off my contact lenses. I have colour contacts now! Hahaha, so that means I didn't get to meet one of my favourite girl today. I'm happy for you dearrrrrrrrrrrr :D

Am still in a good mood, despite what I heard. :)

I need to call Yuyang first. Today is damn happening though....

Ok, so I fell asleep at 9 last night HOHOHO! And woke up in the middle of the night to read a text, which felt like a dream. I thought it was a dream anyway. And when I woke up in the morning my phone was on the floor and the text was gone!! And I realised I did not bathe, my hairpin was still in my hair. Jialat jialat! Hahaha

And at work today, woah! First came this Thai woman who cannot speak english, and began speaking to me in broken english and abit of hokkien. I can't understand hokkien!! So I struggled and struggled and tried to explain to her in english, broken english, handsigns. And finally bth ask someone to translate for me. Omg, Spent one hour serving that taxpayer. Then when I was about to knock off, came on freaky man, who wanted to collect Form P for someone but only brought the letter of authority but no IC or photocopy of IC. So I said cannot, and he began screaming his head off at me. Scold scold scold. Then the receptionist walk past and help me, which in the end ended up in a verbal fight. And you know when I get agitated, shocked, nervous my eyes will open very big.. I could feel my eyes almost popping out just now la! I was raising my voice already lor, walao! I was so afraid he would hit me or something omg!

And mummy came to find me and pick me up :D She waited for me to knock off for one hour plus la! I love mummy alotalot!

Bitching over lunch again today, politics politics politics. Lucky I know how to siam and cover ass. -.-

Mummy went back to AHS to get my O Level Cert hahahaha! Such a baby, don't even dare to collect your lousy results lol. Ok, so now I'm all geared up for the SMU interview on saturday! Actually not really cos I seriously don't know what kind of questions they will ask. And I don't read newspapers, ask me about whats happening in the world today I really don't know hahaha!

And work today was havoc man... 13 people in the queue, red all the way. Work until I was very giddy and gonna drop anytime man. Not to mention some people's mouth stink damn bad. But well, at least its good I now have the messenger thingy on my comp, thanks to J!

I need to exercise my vocals soon. In other words, karaoke plisplisplis.
